Your project scope may include any of the following:
Space planning, furniture layouts, elevations, and 3D renderings (when needed)
Paint, wallpaper, tile, stone, and all surface finish selections
Sourcing and specification of furniture, custom cabinetry, lighting, floor coverings, art, and accessories
Custom window treatments
Renovation planning and coordination
Construction documentation
Kitchen and bath fixture selection, including appliances, fittings, and hardware
White-glove installation, styling, and final reveal
What to expect
Purchasing
All purchasing and execution goes through Manlove and Company Interiors, unless there are select retail items that you would rather purchase and receive yourself. This can be decided after you have approved your project’s design.
We collect 100% payment upfront, after which our Expeditor purchases all your items. Our Receiver inspects and stores your items until every piece has been received and is ready for installation.
Timelines
Every project is custom, resulting in different completion times. When we begin working together, we will discuss projected timelines and keep you informed weekly. Though timeline adjustments may be needed as the project progresses, we do everything in our power to keep your project running as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Our Design Process

01. Foundations
From your first Strategy Consultation to your project Kick-Off and Trade Day, we establish a foundation of trust, getting to know you, your style, your interests, and your lifestyle. This is how we design singular spaces and serve as your trusted advocate all project long.

02. Design Development
We develop all creative concepts for your home, including floor plans and elevations (for features like built-ins). We then source furnishings and materials, gather quotes and estimates, and present the complete design to you for feedback, iteration (if needed), and approval.

03. Implementation
We order, track, receive, and inspect all furnishings, working with manufacturers, freight companies, and warehouse partners. If construction is included, we'll communicate the design with the trades and craftspeople to ensure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed.

04. Installation
We install furnishings and style the accessories and art that make your home personal, unique, and complete. Then, it’s the “Big Reveal!” We present your home, resolve any loose ends, and hand over your Home Care Guide for years of easy, luxury living.

When desired, clients may choose to purchase certain items on their own. In these cases, they are responsible for handling all aspects of ordering, delivery, and issue resolution related to those purchases.

We’ve spent the last 17 years building our network of trusted partners across the DC Metro Area, Northern Virginia, the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and the Delaware Beaches.
Although we can join your project at any point, it’s best to bring us and your entire team together early. This allows us to collaborate and execute a design vision that matches (or exceeds) your goals for your home, both functionally and stylistically.
